The service tracks rent charges and payments, matches Interac payments to tenancies, and can send reminders and receipts on the landlord's behalf. Sir Edson does not collect or hold rent or deposits; payments move directly between tenant and landlord. Sir Edson is a software and record-keeping service: it is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not guarantee that any notice or record satisfies the requirements of the Residential Tenancies Act or the Landlord and Tenant Board.
